MANAGING CONTROL PAPERWORK
MORTON COUNTY 4-H COUNCIL
OUT AND ABOUT
YQCA
I am working to become certified in YQCA to hold a class early this spring. Please watch your email. Rick from Oliver County has offered to assist so I will work with his schedule for my first class. You can log on to https://yqca.learngrow.io/Account/Login to complete the training at home. All 4-H members showing livestock need to complete the training and submit their number to the Extension office.
MANAGING CONTROL PAPERWORK
Don’t forget, managing control paperwork for market beef was to be in March 15, all other livestock is due May 1 and Dairy is due June 1.
MORTON COUNTY 4-H COUNCIL MEETING
The winter has played havoc on the council meeting and now with the thaw I need to reschedule again for April 2 at the Morton County Courthouse. The fairgrounds is muddy due to the thaw and we don’t need anyone getting stuck, myself included! So mark your calendar, April 2 at 7:00pm.
OUT AND ABOUT!
You may or may not have heard that the end of January I fractured my shoulder and have been gone a lot due to surgery, recovery and physical therapy. I was excited last week on Monday that I was able to get rid of my immobilizer and within a few days was able to drive. It’s been a long winter but in a different way for me. I want to thank everyone that has helped me with rides, moving things, helping me out wherever I needed you. I really appreciate it. While I am still in physical therapy my lifting ability is limited. So, the good news! I got to attend a 4-H meeting on Sunday, thank you Roaming Riders for inviting me to your meeting. You were great hosts! I would love to see more smiling faces around the county, please let me know when your meetings are and I will try and fit them in my schedule.
Have a great week!
