Good Morning 4-H Families!

Sounds like some snow in our future on Friday and this may stick around for a while, welcome winter!

Below is some news, I made this brief as a newsletter will be coming out in December with more information.

RESIGNATION
It is with sadness I announce that Marissa Leier has accepted a position outside of Extension.  Marissa’s last day with us will be November 23.  Please help me wish Marissa well in her new adventures.

4-H HOLIDAY GIVING TREE
The Holiday Giving Tree is  ready! We are super excited to have all the stockings hung today, Tuesday, November 13!.  This year we are working with the Mandan Public School system and our gifts will be received by youth in our community that are identified through Mandan Public Schools.

If you would like to participate, we will have Christmas stockings on the tree and you can choose one or more stockings to help out those less fortunate this Christmas season.  The tree is located in our office.  We are asking you to wrap your gifts if you can and attach the original stocking tag on your gift.   Please return gifts to the office by Friday, December 14.

This has been a very successful program in the past and we look forward to this every year.

Thank you for sharing your Christmas spirit with others in our community!

VACATION
I wanted to let everyone know that I will be out of the office beginning Friday, November 16 through Sunday, December 2.  I will not be answering emails or phone messages during this time.  Please direct your questions to Kari and Audrey during this time.  They can be reached at 701-667-3340.  Thank you.
