June 4, 2018

Here are a few items for you for the first week of June 2018.

By now you should have received your envelope of information for the Morton County 4-H Achievement Days.  If you did not receive a large white envelope from the office for Achievement Days, please let me know.

Join us at the Morton County Courthouse for a day of photography!  This Wednesday, June 6 at 1:00pm, Mike Hanson will be with us working with taking a good cell phone picture, what's your settings and if you want to bring an actual camera, you may do that as well!  We will be walking over to Dykshoorn Park to take some pictures.  The day will last until 4:30pm.  We will bring our pictures back to the courthouse and look at them working with each other on what our opportunities are as well.

The 4-H Council meeting has been changed from June 5 to June 18 at the Morton County Fairgrounds in New Salem.  We will still be meeting at 7:00pm.  Please plan on attending as topics include: Concession Stand, pricing for the concession stand, assistance at the fair and the summer cash raffle.  Please, I am asking you to try and have at least one member from each club attend as this meeting is important to prepare for the Morton County 4-H Achievement Days.

Good luck to the Dairy Judging Team as they participate tomorrow in Fargo at the State Dairy Judging Contest!  Also good luck to the archers competing this week in Washburn a the State Archery Tournament.

Have a great week everyone!
