Land Reclamation

Successful Land Reclamation

The goal for any reclamation project is to restore a site disturbed during construction activities associated with oil and gas production to its predisturbance ecological structure and functions, as well as control erosion and sediment movement until the reclamation process is complete.  The ecological structure and function may include plant community integrity, watershed and water quality protection, wildlife habitat, retaining soil quality and productivity and forage for livestock and wildlife.
