NDSU Extension Service in McIntosh County gives local residents easy access to the resources and expertise of North Dakota State University. Through educational programs, publications, and events, Extension Agents deliver unbiased, research-based information to McIntosh County citizens. Equipment Available at McIntosh County Extension Office:

The McIntosh County Extension Office has equipment available for check out including a Soil Probe for soil sample testing ($50 check deposit that will be returned when soil probe is returned), Hay Probes for hay quality analysis,  Cattle Scale ($20.00 charge),  Moisture Meter for use in checking moisture presence after experiencing water damage, Infra Red Thermometer used to check heat loss around doors and windows.
