Before you join the webinar, please follow the steps below to get your computer ready. If it is less than 10 minutes before the start of the webinar you want to join, skip to step 2.

1. Check the computer you will be using for readiness by connecting to this configuration room to test your connection and settings. This is NOT the link you'll use to join the webinar. You'll find that link below
2. Join the webinar 5 minutes early. This will allow time for you to get everything working before the start of the presentation.

4. If prompted, download and install the "Blackboard Collaborate Launcher."
5. Be sure to accept and run the small file download (meeting.jnlp) needed to access Blackboard Collaborate. You may have to double-click the file after downloads to run it.
6. Enter your name and county, if you live in North Dakota or your name and state (or country), if you live outside of N.D.  (e.g. “Ashley Johnson, Bottineau County” or “Ashley Johnson, Minnesota”).
7. Once you are logged in make sure you can hear the presentation. If not,  please run the “Audio Setup Wizard” which is located in the upper right corner of the Video panel (upper left).  It will check your speakers.
8. Microphones will be turned off during the presentations to prevent disturbance caused by background noises. If you have a question, please type it in the “Chat” box, located in the lower left hand corner of the screen.
