Equipment Available:
The Kidder County Extension Office has equipment available for check out including:
- Hay Probe - for more consistent and accurate hay nutrient quality analysis
- Freeze Brands - to provide identification for beef animals
- Insect Sweep Nets - to help identify insects in crops and determine if integrated pest management thresholds are being met
- Hand Held Soil Prob - to take soil samples for nutrient analysis
- Infra Red Thermometer - used to identify heat loss areas in the home
