Funds Available for 2018

The North Dakota State University Extension Service will make grants up to $1,000 available on a competitive basis to support youth gardening projects in North Dakota. Approximately $24,000 is available and efforts will be made to support youth gardening programs in as many counties as possible.

Schools, 4-H clubs, community organizations, church groups and other youth organizations are encouraged to apply.

Any project related to youth and gardening is eligible. Examples of projects include establishing school gardens, growing vegetables for local food pantries, beautifying schools and parks, and building gardens for the elderly. We encourage you to look over our Annual Reports for ideas.
