North Dakota Home Garden Cultivar Trials
Each trial is a comparison of two cultivars (see photo). You receive two packets of seeds, two row labels, a 10-foot string, and a simple data sheet. You grow the two cultivars and tell us which cultivar germinated better, produced a higher yield and tasted better. We want to know which cultivar you recommend for other gardeners in our state. The trials are fun and easy.
Results from the trials lead to our recommendations of cultivars for gardeners in North Dakota.
Hundreds of gardeners participate in our trials every year. They are introduced to new cultivars and most produce higher yields in their gardens. Join us!
