Are you looking for a new variety to plant in 2019?  North Dakota Crop Improvement and Seed Association (NDCISA) district meetings are coming up around the state.  NDCISA southeast district meeting is scheduled for Monday, December 3rd @ 9 am, Veterans Memorial Auditorium in Casselton.  NDCISA northeast district meeting will be Thursday, December 6th @ 9 am, Armory Building in Devils Lake.

Will 2018’s disease pressures prompt change in your farming practices for 2019?  Central Dakota Ag Day is coming up next month—Thursday, December 13th at the Carrington REC.  The program begins with coffee and doughnuts at 9 am, workshops starting at 10 am.     Ergot, Goss’s Wilt and Palmer Amaranth are topics to be shared on weed and disease pressures in our area.  The program also includes timely livestock topics, fertilizer recommendations, cover crop discussions, and marketing outlooks and strategies for 2019.
