The Extension Connection Column by Jeff Stachler

Meetings and Selecting Corn Hybrids

Hope you’re having a great day!

March 15, 2021 is the deadline for signing up for the Farm Bill program.  If you need any assistance in determining which program type to sign up for the Extension office can help you.  We have a farm bill selection tool that will guide you in making decisions.  Call the office to make an appointment.

The 2021 North Dakota State Seed Department Field Inspected Seed Guide is now available.  I have 10 guides available.  This guide tells you what Foundation, Registered, and Certified seed is available near you.  We have two growers in the area with seed available if you want to shop locally.  The guide also tells you who are approved seed conditioners and approved bulk seed retail facilities.

Remember crop pest guides are now available at the office.
