New EFNEP

Not enough food to last the month?

 Need some new low-cost recipes?

Worried about your family eating well?

 No time to cook?

If the answer is yes to any of those questions, EFNEP can help!

Currently in my fifteenth year with EFNEP, I offer programming for low-income adults with young children to learn how to make healthy lifestyle choices.  EFNEP is a hands-on, learn by doing approach that allows participants to gain practical skills that will assist them and their families eat better for less money! The curriculum that I use is based on the recommendation from the Dietary Guidelines for Americans 2015 and MyPlate, both developed jointly by the US Department of Health and Human Services and the USDA.

Eating Smart~Being Active lessons focus on practical information about food choices that you can use in your daily life as well as providing recipes and taste-testing.
