Don't Let Food Spoil

Don’t let food spoil. With planning, almost everything can be used at its best quality or it can be frozen for later use. Go through your refrigerator and pantry to determine what may be close to its “best if used by” date. If you cannot use it right away, freeze it. Almost everything can be frozen, including most vegetables, milk and bread.

Tip provided by Leigh Gunkel, NDSU Extension Service in Griggs, Steele, and Traill counties.
