Want More Pear Salad
This healthy recipe comes from NDSU Extension Service.


  • 8 c. fresh spinach, rinsed
  • 1 ½ c. grapes, halved
  • 1 c. cucumber, sliced
  • 1 large pear, sliced
  • 2 Tbsp. green onion, chopped
  • ½ c. walnuts, chopped

Honey Lime Yogurt Dressing

  • ½ c. nonfat plain yogurt
  • 2 Tbsp. honey
  • 1 Tbsp. lime juice
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. ground mustard
  • Pepper to taste


  • Toss all salad ingredients in a large bowl.
  • In separate bowl, mix dressing ingredients.
  • Pour dressing over mixture and toss again.

Makes 8 servings.

Per Serving: about 110 calories, 5 grams (g) of fat, 15 g carbohydrate, 3 g protein and 70 mg sodium.
