Spunky Vegetable Pizza

This healthy recipe comes from NDSU Extension Service.


  • 1 bag pizza dough mix
  • 3/4 c. pizza sauce
  • 1 c. broccoli, chopped
  • 1 c. carrots, shredded
  • 1/2 c. red or green pepper, sliced
  • 5 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded


Preheat oven to 450 F. Make the dough according to package directions. Put dough on greased cookie sheet. Spread to 1/4 inch thick. Spoon pizza sauce onto dough. Arrange vegetables over sauce, and sprinkle with cheese. Bake according to package directions. Cool for three minutes before slicing. Cut into eight wedges.

Makes 8 servings.

Per Serving: about 90 calories, 4.5 grams (g) of fat, and 9 g carbohydrate
