Did you know, one medium-sized tomato has only 22 calories? Tomatoes are a good source of vitamins, like A and C, and minerals such as potassium. They are also rich in the antioxidant lycopene which gives tomatoes their red color. Lycopene is linked to reducing the risk of certain types of cancer and is good for our hearts.
