Apple Cranberry Salad

This healthy recipe comes from NDSU Extension Service.


  • 1 head of lettuce (10 c.)
  • 2 medium apples, cored and sliced
  • 1/2 c. walnuts, chopped
  • 1 c. cranberries, dried
  • 1/2 c. green onion, sliced
  • 3/4 c. vinaigrette dressing


Toss lettuce, apples, walnuts, cranberries and onions in a large bowl. Add dressing and toss to coat. Serve immediately.



Makes eight servings.

Per Serving: about 143 calories, 5 grams (g) of fat, 25 g carbohydrate and 29 mg sodium
