Korean Beef and Broccoli
Ingredients
¼ c. all-purpose flour
1 (10.5-oz.) can beef broth
2 Tbsp. white sugar
2 Tbsp. soy sauce (low sodium recommended)
1 lb. boneless flank steak, cut into pieces
1 clove garlic, minced
4 c. chopped fresh broccoli
Directions
In a small bowl, combine flour, broth, sugar and soy sauce. Stir until sugar and flour are dissolved. In a large skillet or wok over high heat, cook and stir beef two to four minutes, or until browned. Stir in broth mixture, garlic and broccoli. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat. Simmer five to 10 minutes, or until sauce thickens.
Makes four servings. Each serving has 310 calories, 10 g fat, 36 g protein, 19 g carbohydrate, 2 g fiber and 510 mg sodium.
