Cheesy Garlic Chicken and Shells
Cheesy Garlic Chicken and Shells

  • 8 small boneless, skinless chicken breast
  • ½ tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 3 c. water
  • 1 (24-oz) pkg Velveeta Shells and Cheese Dinner
  • 1 large tomato
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Sprinkle both sides of chicken breasts with garlic powder. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken; cook seven to nine minutes on each side or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 F; keep warm. While cooking chicken, heat 3 cups water in a pot. Bring to boil. Stir in shell macaroni. Reduce heat to medium-low; cook until cheese sauce is melted and mixture is heated through, stirring occasionally. Top with chicken.

Makes eight servings.

Per serving: 420 calories, 14 grams (g) fat, 35 g protein, 37 g carbohydrate and 860 mg sodium.
