This tortilla hack will revolutionize the way you do wraps. Whether it’s sweet or savory, or for breakfast, lunch or dinner, the possibilities are only limited by your imagination.

Tortillas come in all shapes and sizes and there are a variety of different flavors to choose from. Be sure to look at the Nutrition Facts Panel on the back. Some tortillas might be higher in fat, while others are higher in sodium.

The tortilla wraps make a great lunch option whether you are in the office or working from home or for your kids at school. Creating savory or sweet options is easy and you can switch up your options each day for a whole new wrap.

Wrap Ideas:

  • Turkey with cheddar jack cheese, hummus, tomatoes and spring mix lettuce
  • Ham with swiss cheese, mustard, tomatoes and spinach
  • Taco inspired - taco meat, pico de gallo, cheese, leafy green, guacamole
  • Pesto, artichokes, tomatoes and mozzarella cheese
  • Strawberries, peanut butter and apples
  • Banana, peanut butter, jelly

Ingredients

1 Low sodium tortilla
2 slices deli meat
1 Tbsp. spread
1/4 c. leafy greens
1 slice cheese
1/4 c. vegetables, sliced

Directions

Slice tortilla from center to one edge. Add each ingredient to a separate quadrant. Starting with the section to the right of the cut line, fold over onto  adjacent section. Repeat until all are folded.

 

Makes one serving. 220 calories, 10 g fat, 21 g protein, 20 g carbohydrate, 1 g fiber and 480 mg sodium.
