Sunrise Smoothie
This healthy recipe comes from NDSU Extension Service.


  • 1 c. blackberries, fresh or frozen
  • 1 c. strawberries, fresh or frozen
  • 1 c. orange juice
  • 1 c. vanilla nonfat yogurt
  • 1 c. spinach


Place all ingredients in a blender. Cover and blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and serve immediately. You also can pour into popsicle molds and freeze to enjoy as a frozen treat.

Makes 4 servings.

Per Serving: about 100 calories, 0 grams (g) of fat, 22 g carbohydrate, 3 g protein, 3 g fiber, and 35 mg sodium
