Summertime Sorbets
This healthy recipe comes from NDSU Extension.

Ingredients

3 c. fruit
2 Tbsp. honey
1 tsp. lemon juice
~ ½ c. water (optional)

Directions

Rinse fruit with cool running water and chop/dice as needed. Place fruit in a single layer on a cookie sheet and freeze for at least 2 hours or overnight. Add frozen fruit to a blender or food processor. Add honey and lemon juice. Process mixture until smooth. Add up to ½ cup of water as necessary to thin out.

 

Makes six (1/2 cup) servings. Each serving has 90 calories, 1 g fat, 2 g protein, 21 g carbohydrates, 8 g fiber and 0 mg sodium.
