Summer Breeze Smoothie

This healthy recipe comes from NDSU Extension Service.

Ingredients

  • 1 c. plain, nonfat yogurt
  • 6 strawberries
  • 1 c. pineapple (crushed, canned in juice)
  • 1 medium banana
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 4 ice cubes

Directions

Place all ingredients in blender and puree until smooth. Serve in frosted glass.

Makes 3 servings.

Per Serving: about 130 calories, 0 grams (g) of fat, 30 g carbohydrate, 2 g fiber, 4 g protein and 45 mg sodium
