This healthy recipe comes from NDSU Extension Service.


1 c. strawberries, diced

1 banana, diced

1 kiwi, peeled and diced

1 apple, cored and diced

2 Tbsp. lemon juice (or less to taste)

2 Tbsp. brown sugar

1/4 tsp. nutmeg

1/4 cinnamon


 Prepare fruit and directed. Combine fruit as directed. Combine fruit in a bowl and add lemon juice. Stir in sugar, nutmeg and cinnamon. Refrigerate.

Makes 4 servings.

Each serving has 100 calories, 0 g fat, 1 g protein, 26 g carbohydrate, 3 g fiber and 0 mg sodium.
