This healthy recipe comes from NDSU Extension Service.


  • 2 c. vanilla yogurt
  • 1 c. granola with slivered almonds (or favorite whole-grain crunchy cereal)
  • 1 cup blackberries (or favorite frozen berry)


In a large glass, layer 1/2 c. yogurt, 1/4 c. granola, 1/4 c. berries. Repeat layers.

Makes 2 servings.

Per Serving: about 320 calories, 2.5 grams (g) of fat, 58 g carbohydrate, 18 g protein, 6 g fiber, and 190 mg sodium
