Used Slow Cooker? Think Again!

Think twice before you accept a "hand-me-down" slow cooker or buy a used one at a garage sale or thrift store. Older slow cookers can lose their efficiency and might now rise to the proper temperature. New slow cookers can be found at national discount stores, often for less than $20. They are worth the money you will save on electricity and the peace of mind that your food is safe.
