Avoid Food Waste

Do you ever end up tossing out fresh fruits and vegetables before you have a chance to use them? Most fruits and vegetables freeze very well. Some vegetables need to be "blanched" (boiled in water for a short time) before freezing to maintain good color. Be sure to use freezer bags or containers.
