Watch for Ticks!

Tick By CDC

Ticks are external parasites that feed on blood. Once engorged with a blood meal, a tick will drop off its host to mate, lay eggs or continue development. Ticks require high humidity to survive and do not do well on lawns or fields that are routinely exposed to direct sunlight. There are some pesticides that are effective for controlling ticks.
