Extension centennial tools ready (2/18/2014)

As we honor Extension’s centennial in 2014 and move toward the May 8 celebration, several resources are available to you. The Centennial Resources Toolkit includes a calendar of activities, key messages, links to news releases, logos, PowerPoint templates, the video, links to national social media sites and more. Additional resources will be added as they become available.

We’re using this centennial year to kick off the national Extension branding campaign in our state. That’s why most of the centennial tools incorporate the "Extending Knowledge. Changing Lives." theme.  Please think about how you can publicize how Extension has been "Extending Knowledge. Changing Lives." not just in the past but also into the future.

A commemorative centennial poster will be provided soon to county and departmental offices, and RECs.

If you have suggestions for additional tools you could use to celebrate our centennial, contact one of the committee members: Ron Wiederholt, Kathy Tweeten and Becky Koch.
