Dr. Carolyn (Carrie) Hammer (DVM, PhD) is the Program Director and an Assistant Professor in the Equine Sciences Program. She graduated from Iowa State University with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Animal Physiology. Dr. Hammer's primary responsibilities include overseeing the Equine Sciences program and teaching the junior and senior level equine courses.
