2020  NDSU Rodeo Club  Winter Barrel Racing Series  4-D Jackpot

January: 18

February: 1; 15 & 16; 29

 

All are Double Headers with exhibitions before each run.

Order of events:

Exhibitions - Open – Youth - Pee Wee – Exhibitions – Open - Youth

Exhibitions Start: 10:00 a.m. (Sunday at 9am)

Open Starts: Immediately after Exhibitions (tentatively 1pm); Youth & PeeWee to Follow; Second set of Exhibitions immediately following the Youth

 

Prices:     

Open 4D: $25

Youth 4D: $15 (17 and under as of January 1st, 2020)

Pee-Wee: $10 (8 and under as of Jan 1, 2020; may be loping but not at competitive level) (no arena/timer fee added)

Futurity 2D Sidepot: $10 (Must run in 1st Open)

Derby 2D Sidepot: $10 (Must run in 1st Open)

Arena/Timer Fee per Horse: $5

Award Fee/horse&rider combination: $10  (Optional one-time fee. Must be paid before points count for series awards. Will not back credit points.)

Exhibitions: 3 for $12 or 1 for $5

Stalls:        $20 for the night (includes 1 bag of shavings)

                   Day Stalls do NOT get bag of shavings

  Extra shavings: $7/bag

 

Awards given in Open & Youth to top 3 places in each division.
Must run in at least 5 out of the 10 to qualify for awards.

 

Location: NDSU Equine Center at ND Horse Park, Fargo, ND
5140 19th Ave N – 1 ½ miles west of exit 67 from Interstate 29
Entries close when the first runner runs (call ahead if you will be late).
No dress code other than western boots.

 

 ** ND HEALTH REQUIREMENTS...All horses are required to provide a current Coggins (within past 12 months). OUT OF STATE horses, according to ND State Law, must also provide a Health Certificate (Certification of Veterinarian Inspection) within the past 30 days.  This is a State Law put into effect in June, 2011. SD Horses... your vet will have to also get a state permit number (all licensed vets will know this new requirement).
