Emmons County 4-H Livestock Judging

Livestock Judging The Emmons County livestock judging team is comprised of 4-H’ers who are interested in learning more about the correct terminology for different livestock species and characteristics to judge. We are always finding new ways to teach the 4-Hers and had a few live workouts this season. If you are interested in being a part of the livestock judging team or have any questions, call the office.

Live workouts and livestock judgers at Little I in Fargo on February 12, 2016. This year we had some new members to the livestock judging team, which we are always happy to see. Danny Schumacher was the only one to compete at contests for the judging team this season. He went to the contest in Napoleon and placed seventh out of all the junior 4-H'ers judging. He also competed at Little I in Fargo. If you are interested in being a part of the livestock judging team or have any questions, call the Extension Office at 254-4811.
