Emmons County started a hippology team in 2014. The first year we had 6 members and this year (2017) we are up to 15. Hippology is an activity that makes learning fun for 4-H members by letting them exhibit their knowledge and understanding of equine science and husbandry in a friendly but competitive setting. Team members in 2016-17 include: Mackenzie Hendrickson, Kaylyn Hendrickson, Maddie Dahl, Mary Huber, Derek Vetter, Precious Vetter, Angie Vetter, Anna Small, Dylan Hendrickson, Matthew Macdonald, Joe Macdonald, Abby Percel-Klein, Natalie Ballensky, Jade Alderin and Noah Alderin.
