- Emmons County 4-Hers take part in state fair activities.
- North Dakota 4-H Camp
- 2020 Western 4-H Camp, Summer Camps, held at Washburn, ND. Open to all youth. Do not need to be a 4-H member to participate. The Western 4-H Camp is on roughly 80 acres of wooded riverfront property 1.5 miles west of Washburn, N.D. The scenic campgrounds are strategically located between the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center and historic Fort Mandan along the Missouri River.
- Emmons County 4-H Livestock Judging
- Livestock Judging The Emmons County livestock judging team is comprised of 4-H’ers who are interested in learning more about the correct terminology for different livestock species and characteristics to judge. We are always finding new ways to teach the 4-Hers and had a few live workouts this season. If you are interested in being a part of the livestock judging team or have any questions, call the office.

- Each fall 4-Hers are recognized with member year discs, award discs, plaques and other awards which they earned throughout the 4-H year.

- Emmons County 4-H Hippology Judging
- Emmons County started a hippology team in 2014. The first year we had 6 members and this year (2017) we are up to 15. Hippology is an activity that makes learning fun for 4-H members by letting them exhibit their knowledge and understanding of equine science and husbandry in a friendly but competitive setting. Team members in 2016-17 include: Mackenzie Hendrickson, Kaylyn Hendrickson, Maddie Dahl, Mary Huber, Derek Vetter, Precious Vetter, Angie Vetter, Anna Small, Dylan Hendrickson, Matthew Macdonald, Joe Macdonald, Abby Percel-Klein, Natalie Ballensky, Jade Alderin and Noah Alderin. The coach is Kelsie Egeland. If you are interested in being a part of the hippology team or have any questions, call the office.
- Emmons County 4-H Crops Judging
- Emmons County started a crops judging team in 2015. The crops judgers are learning different weed plants/seeds, crops plants/seeds, insect id, machinery id and other aspects of grain grading. The 2018-19 team consists of Garrett Huizenga and Kynlee Larson. Coaching the team is Nancy Deis. If you are interested in being a part of the crops judging team or have any questions, call the Extension Office 254-4811.

- Tri-County Fair will be held in Wishek on July 9-12, 2020. Visit the website at www.tricofair.com. Fairgrounds located 1 mile west, 1/2 mile south of Wishek.
- Bichler Family Scholarship
- $250 is donated by Doug and Maria Bichler to an Emmons County 4-H'er. This opportunity helps a 4-H'er purchase a show animal to be exhibited at Emmons County 4-H Achievement Days and Tri-County Fair.
