Summary

  • Next rain event set for Saturday evening into Sunday, west, and Sunday into early Monday, east.
  • Else, temperatures will be mild this weekend, with low temps staying above freezing for most all the state.
  • For now: the Drought Monitor map valid on April 2nd, published April 4th, has some slight improvements to the ND map. Persistent area of D1 to D2 in northeast ND, with widespread D0 elsewhere.
  • Overall, near to above normal temperatures are expected through April and beyond, while precipitation remains fickle.
