Best Harvester Hay Probe

If you would like to test your hay for quality, you can check out the hay probe.  

Hay analysis varies on type of test. 

 

Holding Fee: $80.00

Soil Probe

Check your soil nutrient level in the garden or field.  Knowing your soil nutrients helps you decide on the amount of fertilizer that maybe required, the pH of the soil, what kind of plants can handle the soil, and so many other reasons.  

Garden/Lawn soil tests are $18.00. 

Crop land varies on the type of test. 

Holding fee: $30.00

Forage Sample Kit

If you would like to determine your carrying capacity or forage production of rangeland or pasture land by clipping and weighing.  We have a forage sample kit available for you to use.  

Holding Fee: $175.00

GE Protimeter Mini Moisture Reader

If you are needing to assess moisture conditions within a building.  The Protimeter may be check out to help you moisture assessments in a wide variety of building materials including wood, masonry, drywall, plaster and concrete. 

Holding Fee: $50.00

Mini-Temp Laser Thermometer

This non-contact thermometer can be checked out to help measure many non-contact applications such as food safety and facility maintenance. 

 

 

 

 

 

Contact the Office if you wish to Check Out any of the available items.  

Office Policy is that check outs are for a week at a time with a holding fee.

The County Agent will make a visit to conduct the testing with no holding fee.  

If you wish to check out an item, there is a mandatory holding fee (varies between equipment) that will be returned once the equipment is check back into the office.  If equipment is loss or damaged, the office will use the check to replace the piece of equipment.
