Herbicide Prices for 2011 Available (5/19/11)

Herbicide prices have been updated for the 2011 season. These prices will override those listed in the Herbicide Compendium in the back of the 2011 North Dakota Weed Guide. In general, prices changed little from the 2010 prices.

Many prices remained the same or increased slightly. The price of some herbicides was significantly reduced: Buctril, ClearMax, Extreme, Rage D-Tech, and several of the clethodim and SU generic products.

Several new products were added to the compendium: Cropland = Axial Star, Everest 2.0, Raze, Supremacy, FirstStep, NextStep, Starane Flex, Verdict, Tacoma, Commit, Top Gun, Callisto Extra, Warrant, Triple Flex, Thuder, Thunder Master.

Non-cropland : Products containing the new active ingredient from DuPont (aminocyclopyraclor)  has shown significant activity on leafy spurge, thistles, and other noxious weeds in pasture and non-cropland (Perspective, Streamline, Viewpoint). The following new products containing aminopyralid from Dow include Pathfinder II, Opensight, and Milestone VM.

Products that were removed from the list are: Achieve, Avenge, Eradicane, and Far-Go G which will reduce products to fight wild oat resistance. Some others include Bronate Advanced, Pursuit Plus, Redeem, and Shotgun.

The updated Herbicide Compendium and price list can be found on-line at the NDSU Weed Science Web page:
