Northwest ND (06/01/17)

Information from the Northwest region of North Dakota.

Much of Northwest ND received about 0.25” of rain last Wednesday, the only substantial rainfall for most of the area in the last 10 days. Scattered light showers passed through on Sunday, but most places received less than 0.1” from them. The rain last week was welcome but emerging crops could use more. There is a chance of scattered showers this Friday, but as of this writing, the likelihood of rain is dropping.

Most acres in the area are planted, but there are still a few fields waiting for seed. Crops are starting to emerge throughout NW ND and are now just waiting for rain.
