Spring wheat is tillering with winter wheat headed out. Soybean is in the V1 to V2 stage with field pea in the V5 to V6 vegetative stages. Canola is observed between the V2-V4 stage. Now is the time for controlling weeds, as weather permits. Some hit and miss grasshoppers are being found during scouting, though very low numbers. Flea beetle populations are still be detected, but adult numbers appear to be dropping.
