Syngenta recently announced its intent to sell its sugarbeet seed business to Danish Company DLF Seeds.

Syngenta Sells Its Sugarbeet Seed Division

Syngenta recently announced its intent to sell its sugarbeet seed business to Danish Company DLF Seeds. DLF Seeds is a world-wide seed company focused on forage and turf seeds, and seeds in other crops including pulse crops, spinach, and potato. The company is headquartered in Roskilde, Denmark, and is owned by a cooperative of Danish farmers.

Syngenta sugarbeet seed is sold under the brand name Hilleshög of which they acquired in 2001.
