Addition to Last Week’s Question and Answer

Question: What preemergence herbicides can I use on potato if I want to plant sugarbeets next year?

Answer: The preemergence herbicides that do not have a sugarbeet rotation restriction are Dual (S/metolachlor), Outlook (dimethenamid), Chateau (flumioxazin) and Eptam. All other preemergence potato herbicides do not allow sugarbeets to be planted the following crop season.
