If you grow corn, you should be aware of corn rootworms in North Dakota. The NDSU Extension Service publication “Integrated Pest Management of Corn Rootworms in North Dakota” E1852 was recently written and printed. This publication summarizes Integrated Pest Management of corn rootworms in field corn including identification, life cycle, crop damage, field scouting, thresholds, root injury ratings, cultural control, Bt corn hybrids, biological and chemical control. It is sponsored by the North Dakota Corn Council. The pdf is free, from the NDSU Extension Distribution Center website.
