This year’s fall conference will use a combination of NDSU Marketplace and Sched, an event management website and mobile app, to facilitate registration.

You may wish to open this page in a separate tab so you can scroll through the instructions as you complete the two steps.

Step 1: Registration in Marketplace

  • Visit the our conferences store
  • Click on 2018 Fall Conference tile.
  • Click Add to Registration.
    • You can register more than one person in one transaction. Simply change the quantity to reflect the number of people you are registering.


  • Enter registration details and click Continue.
  • Review your selections and click Register Now.
  • Enter all required information – use your billing address to save time. Click Continue.
    • Note: You will need a full 9-digit ZIP code. If you do not know yours, you can use the ZIP code lookup tool on the USPS website.
  • Payment Method:
    • Select a payment method – If you are paying by IDB or check, you will still need to select credit card from the payment method dropdown.
    • To bypass the credit card section and pay by IDB or check, find the promotional code box on the lower right side of this page and enter IDB or CHK. Then click Apply. (Mail checks to NDSU Dept. 7070, PO Box 6050, Fargo, ND 58108-6050)
    • Enter all required information and click Continue.
  • You will have one more chance to review the details of your registration. Your registration will not be submitted until you click the green Submit Registration in the middle of your reservation review page.

Step 2: Selecting Your Sessions

Within one business day of registering in the NDSU Marketplace, you will receive an email invitation from


  • Click Set Your Password and get started.
  • Create a password. You will need to log in with this password to select breakout sessions and view your customized schedule.
  • Do NOT make your profile private – we need an accurate count of attendance for each session. Please ensure the following options are selected in your profile:
  • You may add additional information to your profile and upload a photo to make it easier for people to connect with you.
  • Click Schedule to view breakout sessions and select those you will attend. Please select an option for every time slot you will be present.


    • You can view the schedule as a simple list or in expanded mode with descriptions and speaker bios.
    • In simple mode you can hover over a session to see location, description and speaker information or click on the breakout to learn more.
  • After selecting the sessions you will attend, you can click your photo (or the icon of the head) to view your customized schedule.


    • To view a printer friendly version, click Print on the right side of the page. Print a copy and bring it along to conference for a convenient at-a-glance look at your sessions and where to find them.
    • You may want to wait to print your schedule until the week before the conference in case there are room changes.
