Research Projects and Impact Reports

The purpose of the NDSU Extension Service is to create learning partnerships that help adults and youth enhance their lives and communities. As a result, we engage in a variety of research efforts to increase knowledge of human development and family relationships, study the effectiveness of educational programs, and support the advancement of understanding on effective programs to assist in strengthening lives, relationships and communities. This site contains links to research projects and impact reports on some of the educational programs being developed and used in extension program efforts to strengthen individuals and families.

Impact Reports for Educational Programs

Impact reports are short, one-page summaries of key educational programs serving children, families, seniors, and communities. These reports are provided for both county-level and statewide educational programs and highlight the impacts of these programs on participants.

Research Projects for Educational Programs

It is a priority to develop, implement, and study educational programs that are research-based, practical, and impactful in assisting the lives of children, families, seniors and communities. The research projects associated with a variety of our educational programs are highlighted here.
