Ecological Site Instructions
Follow the instructions below to access ecological sites for the area of interest:
- Select a county.
- On the next screen, click on section "II" of the menu which should automatically list. The menu runs a Java applet so if you don't see the menu, you may have to download and install Java from http://java.com/en/download/index.jsp. This is an easy and painless process.
- Scroll down on the menu tree and you will see section "F"
- Click on "ecological sites"
- Select MLRA 54 for western North Dakota or MLRA 53B for the Coteau Region of North Dakota to find a list of ecological sites. Choose the one of interest to see the site description and tables. Please note: Silty range sites are now known as "loamy" range sites and overflow range sites are now known as "loamy overflow" range sites.
