(Four Week Training Series)

A introductory, hands-on training series in youth shotgun and trapshooting. Shotgun and trapshooting is one of the shooting sports disciplines in the Outdoor Skills Program offered by the Cass County 4-H Youth Development Program of the NDSU Extension Service.You will learn the basic rules of safety, proper equipment selection and care and beginning shooting techniques. Equipment will be provided. A parent or guardian is strongly encouraged to attend with youth.

2018 Spring Class Dates

  • Orientation Meeting: Sunday, April 15, 2018 1:00 - 3:00 pm
  • Class Dates: April 21, 22, 28 & 29 (Saturdays & Sundays)
  • Time: 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
  • Registration Opens: Early March
  • Registration Closes: Friday, April 6, 2018
  • Class Size: 16 youth per time slot

Who Can Attend: All youth, ages 11 and older, who have their Hunter Safety Certificate. Sign Up a Friend!* Parents are welcome to watch.

Cost: $50.00    Credit Cards Accepted

Upon registration you will receive a mailing with release forms that will need to be completed in order for your child to participate in the classes.
