(Two Day Introduction Course)

A hands-on training series in youth Muzzleloading. Muzzleloading is one of the shooting sports disciplines in the Outdoor Skills Program offered by the Cass County 4-H Youth Development Program of NDSU Extension.  This program is valuable in helping young people develop self-confidence, personal discipline, responsibility, teamwork, self-esteem and sportsmanship. The discipline and self-control required carries over into many other aspects of life. Certified instructors will be conducting the training. Open to ALL youth ages 11 & older who have their hunter's safety completed. You will learn the basic rules of safety, proper equipment selection, leading of black powder rifles and beginning shooting techniques. Equipment will be provided.

2019 Spring Class Dates

  • April 27 & 28, 2019
  • Time: 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm both days
  • Location: Rural Georgetown, MN (Directions will be mailed to attendees)
  • Registration Closes: Wednesday, April 17, 2019
  • Class Size: 8 youth

Who Can Attend: All youth, ages 1 and older who have completed hunter's safety. Sign Up a Friend! Parents are welcome to watch.

Cost: $25.00    Credit Cards Accepted

Upon registration you will receive a mailing with release forms that will need to be completed in order for your child to participate in the classes.
