Who Enrolls

North Dakota 4-H (ND4-H) requires online enrollment for every youth member. Adults who wish to appy for screening as a ND4-H volunteer are encouraged to enroll as well, but this is not required. Youth and adult member may enroll at an time during the calendar year. 

The 4-H enrollment year is September 1 to August 31. All youth members must have been at least 5 years old on September 1st, of the current 4-H enrollment year, to enroll. 

When enrolling you can choose a club you would like to join. If you are not sure which club would best suit your family, choosing "I want to join 4-H!" as a club and someone from our office will contact you.

Program Costs

Annual membership dues are $25 per youth and is capped at $75 per family. From this, ND4-H receives $20 per youth for annual member dues, while Cass County 4-H receives $5 per youth for annual dues. Cass County 4-H Clubs may elect to collect club dues; these are typically $5-15 per youth. Club and membership dues help to cover cost of hosting activities and events throughout the year.
