Carnival

Schedule for the Day:

Carnival Booth Set-Up - 2:00-2:45pm

Carnival Ticket Sales - 2:00-4:45pm

Carnival - 3:00-5:00pm

Raffle Drawing - 5:00pm

 

Carnival Information

Carnival Booth Prizes:

1st Place Club - $50

2nd Place Club - $25

3rd Place Club - $10


Carnival Booth Guidelines: (Carnival Layout & Set-Up: Dragonflies 4-H Club)

  • Clubs receive $5.00 for each booth plus 20% of the carnival ticket sales (divided by # of club booths).
  • Booth Size: 6 ft. wide by 8 ft. deep.
  • Carnival tickets will be sold for 25 cents each.
  • TWO TICKETS are required to play each game at the carnival booths.
  • Carnival tickets will be sold from 2:00-4:45 pm. NOTE TIME
  • EACH CLUB PAYS FOR THEIR OWN BOOTH PRIZES. Prizes can be homemade--ex. refrigerator magnets, dough art, straw art or small items like pencils, stickers, etc.)
  • Each club is responsible for all equipment, decorations, prizes and a bucket to collect tickets for their booth.
  • EACH CLUB SHOULD PROVIDE THEIR OWN BOOTH SIGN.


Cake Walk - Dragonflies (1st year in rotation)     

  • Each 4-H family should bring a cake or non-refrigerated pie.
  • Bring cakes/pies on cardboard or disposable pans.
  • Deliver cakes by 2:30 pm.
  • The cake walk is available to all clubs on a two-year rotation basis. 
  • Two sets of laminated numbers (1-20) will be provided by the office.


Bingo -  Rainbow Kids (2nd year in rotation)

  • Each club is asked to donate THREE prizes for the Bingo Room.
  • Prizes should be $5 - $10 in value.
  • Bring Bingo prizes by 2:30 pm.
  • Bingo is available to all clubs on a two-year rotation basis.
  • The bingo machine and bingo cards will be provided by the office.

Lunchstand -  Wheatland Pioneers 

Carnival Booth Registration is due: Thursday, March 1, 2018

  • Club Name - Name of Carnival Booth (First & Second Choice) (Booth ideas will be taken on a first-come first-serve basis)

Raffle Ticket Information

Raffle Ticket Sale Prizes:

1st Place Salesperson - $25

2nd Place Salesperson - $20

3rd Place Salesperson - $15

4th Place Salesperson - $10

5th Place Salesperson - $5

Top Club with Sales - $75


Raffle Ticket Sale Guidelines:

  • All clubs receive 10% of THEIR ticket sales.
  • You cannot combine ticket sales of youth in one family to win sale prizes.
  • The 4-H Leader's Executive Board highly encourages EACH 4-H family to sell at least TWO books of tickets.
  • ALL youth and parents need a raffle ticket that is good for admission to the Carnival.
  • If you forget or lose your ticket, you MUST purchase a new one.

Raffle Tickets Return Procedure:

All leaders need to return the following items the day of the event from 2:00 to 4:30pm.

  • Club Raffle Ticket Form
  • ALL unsold raffle tickets from club.
  • Stubs of sold raffle tickets from club
  • ONE check for all sold tickets from club.
