Summer Progress

            Most crops are looking good. Crop progress is a bit behind normal due to the spread out planting season and cool temps. The cool temps may be of some concern for the late planted crops but will certainly help the cool season crops through flowering and filling. Haying is also behind due to excess moisture although many producers made good progress this past week. Upland pastures and hay are generally good while many of the low lying pastures and hay areas are flooded again.
